  If I hire a guided transfer, all of my widgets are recreated? And are my subscribers brought over to the new self hosted site?

  There is no means that we have been made aware of for transferring subscribers. Not all of the in-house widgets we have at WordPress.com are available in Wrdpress.org installs. Copying and pasting text from text widgets in one blog to text widgets in another is a snap. Exactly what is included in a guided transfer is found here > guided transfer

  The Jetpack plugin for self-hosted sites that was created by wordpress.com now includes the subscription widget, but I do not know if it can be linked to your subscribers on your blog here, or if there is some way to transfer them. You would have to ask staff when you talk with them about the guided transfer.
