  take website down , cannot afford to pay any more, i have had my funding cuty so i cannot afford to pay for these services any more

  You have already taken the site down, so that should be the end of it. Of course, with the ‘.wordpress.com’ in the blog name, why not just transfer to a free theme. I maintain two sites on WordPress and pay nothing in total because I chose the free options.
