Taken URL by an example filler page
-
Hi, I recently started a blog called Appenstance that does app reviews. I wanted to change my url to appenstance.wordpress.com however this url is taken by an example filler page with one post of example text made back in 2010. It doesnt appear to have an owner and looks to be done by wordpress. Is there any way that this page could be deleted or changed so that we could use the url?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there. Unfortunately staff will under no circumstances transfer that address to you. It does not matter whether the current owner is using or has ever used that address: http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/
I see comments are open on that blog, so try leaving a comment asking the owner if they would transfer the blog to you. It’s a long shot as they might not be monitoring notifications or may have deleted the email they used to create that blog, but it’s your only chance of getting that address.
Failing that, you’ll either have to pick a different free URL or try to register the one you want as a custom domain.
