Taking my blog from wordpress.com to godaddy

  I want to take my current blog I have on wordpress.com to godaddy. If launch the webshosting on my domain name and install the WordPress App, then log in with my current WordPress.com credintials. Will I get to keep my current website? I don’t want to loose all my work on the current WordPress.com website but I want to be able to do more customizing to it. Is this possible and how?

  Your WordPress.com login will not work on your self-hosted site and your WordPress.com site will not be automatically migrated to your self hosted site. There is some elbow grease involved in moving from .com to self-hosted.
