Taking off the "Leave a Reply" -Freedom template

  • Unknown's avatar

How do I take off the “leave a reply” section at the bottom of my pages? I am doing a website and that section is more for a blog. Also, on the right of the page there are titles like” Meta, Archive… how do I get rid of those? I would like the content of every page to take the whole space.

    Thank you!

    Hi there!

How do I take off the “leave a reply” section at the bottom of my pages?

You can disable comments on your blog through Settings > Discussion:

    https://cdllifecoaching.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-discussion.php

You can read more about the comment controls here:

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/enable-disable-comments/

You’ll need to go back to any page you already published and close comments there also. You can close comments on a page by opening the page editor and scrolling down to the Discussion module. Uncheck the box next to ‘Allow comments’:

If you don’t see the Discussion module, click on ‘Screen Options’ at the top of the page and check the box next to ‘Discussion.’

Also, on the right of the page there are titles like” Meta, Archive… how do I get rid of those? I would like the content of every page to take the whole space.

You’ll need to apply the Full Width template in order for your content to take up the full width of your site. You can do this through the Page editor.

Let me know if I can help with anything else!
