  Hello, I am trying to update a webpage for my new clients. Their wordpress is out of date, and every single operation tells me that jetpack is out of date. The update never seems to work, leaving it all inoperable. Every link on the site takes one to a ‘404’ page. The export feature won’t work for me to back up the site so that I can update without fear of data loss. Is there any guidance for a wordpress site that is so out of date?

  Hi. Unfortunately you’re in the wrong Forum. This Forum is for wordpress.COM blogs, you need to be in the wordpress.ORG Forum. If you check out this link you’ll find where you’re supposed to be, and what the difference is between the two. Good luck with your site.
