Taking Over Someone’s Username

  So, there’s this name that I’d like to take over, and the person has never used it.

  Is there any way to find out who has that domain and see if they’d want to get rid of it?

  Would that work? Is that possible? Is it OK to sit on usernames forever?

  No, you cannot recycle usernames unless you can find out who owns it and get it transferred to you…but you would have to contact them first. If they have deleted it, there is no way to get it at all.
