I suggest complaining on that thread as well as this.

It’s probably not their fault, but the lack of attention is appalling.

So finally I am part of a happy group. I am sure that WP checking the problem as it is not internet but a server issue. Thanks Grahamatlic for drawing my attention. There is nothing I can do with my blog at the moment so I am out and over. I am sorry the service is good on most days so I can’t joined you chaps complaining. There must be a fault and no doubt someone is dealing with it. be patient. http://www.doronart.com

    frustrated.

  • Hi everyone – We’re aware this is still a problem, and we’re working on it as best we can. I understand how extremely frustrating this must be.

In the meantime, I’d like to encourage all of you to please contact your ISPs and tell them that you are still experiencing these problems.

I tweeted talktalk care this morning so they are well aware of the problem

I am completely down! I can’t update, upload an image…nothing! I moved to WP 2 weeks ago and I’m thinking I made the wrong move! I do not have Talk Talk. I have Go Daddy. They sat there is nothing wrong on their end! PLEASE get this issue fixed!

eurello – no YOU need to contact our ISP’s. We do not sign up to WordPress agreeing that we will be responsible for access to our own websites because of a third party that YOU should be talking to, Do it quick – my business is suffering.

  • Hi Howie,

We are reaching out to them for sure, but the more of their customers they hear from who are affected by this, the better.

  • Unknown's avatar

It’s difficult to convince an ISP to do anything when it’s only one web address, wordpress.com, which is being affected. Every other website I’ve accessed today has functioned as it should, yet now I can get only intermittent and inconsistent access to my own dashboard and the WP blogs I follow.

  • Unknown's avatar

This is not an ISP problem as I am not a talk talk customer. It is something to do with you. You have all the time in the world to fix it. The rest of the internet is working fine. Just WordPress have a problem.

  • Unknown's avatar

eurello, can you let us know, please, just what it is we’re to discuss with our ISP?
Here I am in Sydney, and experiencing the same problem as those in the UK (and presumably elsewhere); so I can’t begin to imagine what good talking to iinet is going to be. But I’ll do it if you tell me what I’m to tell them is going on …

Hey, I’m cleverer than I thought! – I can post the same thing twice at the same second!

  • Unknown's avatar

Just to add to the list of many I am having issues with both my blogs and yes am talk talk customer just wonder why I have no problems with any other website just this one? Surely must be a wordpress issue?

  • Unknown's avatar

This issue has NOTHING TO DO with our ISPs – nothing. I spent some time on the ‘phone this-morning with mine, as the young bloke went around everywhere trying to ascertain if anyone there was having problems with or had heard of problems with WordPress, and there was not a single mention.
Of course it’s a WordPress issue. I sought explanation from one of the staff, but got none; so was unable even to explain to my ISP, iiNet, why I was asking. In fact, I felt a fool.
The extremely lengthy silence from WordPress is the most disappointing aspect of all this. I’m quite prepared to take on board the fact of any hideous technical hitch: what I dislike intensely is management’s refusing to keep us all posted on what’s happening. And whatever it is, it’s BIG: WordPress users all around the globe are suffering because of it.

Dear WordPress: “Why do I do, just as you say, why must I just, give you your way
Why do I sigh, why don’t I try – to forget
It must have been, that something lovers call fate
Kept me saying: “I have to wait”…

….Some others I’ve seen, might never be mean
Might never be cross, or try to be boss, but they wouldn’t do
For Blogger just doesn’t give me a thrill
    – with all your faults, I love you still
It has to be you, wonderful you, it has to be you”

But please just explain how with all different ISP users and no problems with any other sites than wordpress.com that it isn’t your issue?!
