I do not want to renew the domain name. I want theresacrater.wordpress.com. The computer tells me it is reserved. Are you saying I have to wait after 9/30 to get that name?

If you look here:http://www.whois.com/whois/theresacrater.com
it says your domain is registered at Fastdomain and does not expire until September 30. I think that may be why it’s saying that the domain name is reserved.

When we register a username account the matching blog is reserved for our future use. It cannot be obtained by anyone other than the person who has registered the matching username account.
If you have changed your username however then the blog URL will not be available for use under the new username account.
If you have not changed your username then you can log out of wordpress.com, clear your browser cache and cookies, and log in under the f1psh username account. Then you can register the matching blog URL. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

Thank you macmanx for the comment back. I assume it was directed to me regarding my support question.
In going to the page I don’t see the option, other than it telling me if I didn’t find my answer to search again. I would like to get this request into the queue today if possible to close out my request.

To the guy who’s switching servers. That’s what I’m trying to do, too. You go to Tools. Click on Export and save the file. It’s that simple.
