Targeted by commentator leaving obscene comments

  Hi, Someone has begun to leave inappropriate and pornographic comments on my blog that are targeted to photos of my children . I can see the IP and email address, though it’s likely that they are using a VPN. Does WordPress has a policy for reporting these situations?

  Hello there,

  First and foremost, you should Blacklist this commented from publishing on your site. Here are instructions on setting that up:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/discussion-settings/#comment-blacklist

  Nice work with gathering the IP address :)

  If you tell me the email address, I can do some research on my end. You can also send me a link to a couple of those comments. It’ll help to have record of those, should I need to take this to our Terms of Service department.

  Hi there!

  Thanks for the information. I am able to see that email address, even though it’s redacted publicly. So, no troubles there!

  That blacklist should block this user from commenting on your site.

  I will send you a personal email from the address: support@wordpress.com. Keep an eye out for it. You can give me links to those comments in that email.
