targeting IE in custom css

    Hi,
    I am using a blank theme, and editing the css to make it look like my design. The problem is, that I can’t use conditional comments to target IE6 and 7. So I have been using *property:attribute to target IE. Problem is, wordpress.com strips out all that invalid nonsense, so I can’t get my IE fixes to work. Any one got any ideas how to get round this?
