  we had a website develpoed for our company. The person who developed it is no longed with our company and the website is down. The only site that looked anything like tarpnation.net was tarpnation.wordpress.com. Can you see if the site’s code is still somewhere on your servers … thank you

  Hi there, it doesn’t look like tarpnation.net itself has ever been hosted on our servers here at WordPress.com. If I visit tarpnation.net now however, it does appear to be working!

  Because it isn’t hosted with us (and doesn’t appear to have been – your WordPress.com account shows a Business plan that was bought from us in 2021, and cancelled/refunded barely 5 days later), we would generally suggest contacting your host first, and possibly also your domain provider if that’s a different company to your hosting platform.

  Essentially, there are two ways to use WordPress, you can either use the WordPress software downloaded from WordPress.org onto a web host (also known as self-hosted), or you may host your site with us here at WordPress.com.
