Tax Exempt

  We are a tax-exempt entity (university). Based on a past receipt, it looks like WordPress doesn’t charge tax, but I need to verify that tax will not be charged when we use our credit card. Can you please verify that there will be no tax charged? If not, where can we send our tax exempt paperwork so you can take off the tax?

  Please be patient while waiting for a Staff response. Also clarify whether or not you are referring to (1) a site hosted by wordpress.COM or to (2) a wordpress.ORG software install on paid hosting.

  That means that you are posting to the wrong support forum. We do not provide support for sites that are not hosted by wordpress.COM.

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.   If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.
