We are a New York State Agency with tax exempt status. What do we need to do to remove the tax from our bill? We have a tax exempt certificate that can be provided.

Hi there!
I’m not seeing any paid upgrades under the account you’re currently logged into. Are you looking to pay for a WordPress.com plan or have you already made a purchase (and if so, on what site)?
If you’re looking to make a purchase, please upload your documentation to your site’s Media Library and we’ll take a closer look.
Once we have that information, we’ll be better able to advise.
Thanks!

Hello, we currently have the Pro Plan Subscription in our cart. I added our tax exempt certificate to the Media page on my site. Please let me know if you are able to view it. Thank you!

Hello again, our agency ended up processing the payment through because it was imperative that we were able to start using this service today. Once you’ve had the opportunity to review our tax exempt status, could you please refund the tax charged?

Thanks for that!
In order to retain tax-exempt status here at WordPress.com, you will need to keep that document in your Media Library if our Accounting team ever needs to reference it. Update: we’ve stored it securely and it can be removed.
I’ve added the status to your account and refunded the $14.40 for the taxes charged on your Pro plan purchase. You should see a separate receipt in your email reflecting that refund.
In the future, since you have a Pro plan now, you have access to priority email and live chat support. You can access this priority support from your account page where you can get help more quickly than by posting in the free public support forums.

You should be all set!
