Tax Id # is coming up invalid on WordAds

    I recently registered my business and attained a tax id number, however, when I attempt to enter the number into WordAds, this message pops up:

    US based participants must provide a valid SSN / Tax id.
    Format: ###-##-#### or ##-#######

    I have tried every format; with dashes and without. I would appreciate any guidance to steer me in the right direction.

    Please try entering the number without any dashes or spaces. If that doesn’t work, let’s try some browser troubleshooting steps.

    First, please make sure that your browser is up to date by visiting http://whatbrowser.org/

    If it is not, please try updating your browser or switching to a different browser.

    If it is, please do these two things:

    1. Try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies: http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/

    2. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.
