Teacher – Home education during Covid 19

    Hello, I am a teacher and our school is about to close due to Cover 19. I am trying to set up a blog so I can keep in touch with the children from home and set them tasks etc. The blog name is mrstinklerclass.wordpress.com . My problem is that when I try and find the blog from any other device I get an error message saying it doesn’t exist. Please help!!

    Hi there,

    I think you made a typo. You mentioned mrstinklerclass.wordpress.com, but you have created mrstinklersclass.wordpress.com.

    I also suggest trying the P2 theme which can transform your blog into an online group collaboration tool. This can help work asynchronously with your students. Have a look here:

    Is WordPress.com offering any discounts or assistance to teachers for COVID 19? I am a longtime user/customer and pay for an ad free site on my personal sites. It would be wonderful if WordPress.com could offer ad free sites for teachers during this crisis!

    Hello — I am also a teacher that is looking for help navigating through COVID-19 distance teaching. I have been using wordpress for years as a classroom website, but I’m expecting (or at least hoping) more parents and students will be visiting the site over the next few weeks. As such, I was looking at the “personal” plans to eliminate advertising from my classroom website, but I’m afraid it’s more than I can afford right now. Is there any possibility for a discount just to remove ads? Or a way for me to pay for 6 months instead of the full year? Thank you for anything you can do to help!
