Tear-stained Newbie with yet another conundrum
-
I apologize in advance for my deep ignorance. I’ve spent literally hours getting nowhere with this one, plus have gone through at least a full Kleenex box from weeping in frustration. Here is what I want to do:
The blog http://churchofskippy.wordpress.com has lovely little paragraphs on the left side that I want to try and create on my blog, http://susanspracticeblog.wordpress.com. Are those things on Skippy “catagories”? How did they get those nice little highlighted headers, and then room for all that nice text? Can I do something similar in my theme, or do I need to change themes to do this?
I worship at your lotus feet–:>)
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Take a look at your widget selection and you’ll find “Text” widgets, add some of those and you can type whatever text into them you want. All of the widgets are available for almost all Themes. Most HTML works in them the same way it does when you’re writing a post. “Skippy” currently has three text widgets and one “Recent Comments” widget. Their “Recent Issues” section is a text widget containing links to past posts…
