  i would like to show only the excerpt of my posts in my blog, with a “more” link to show the post entirely How can i do this?

  Splitting content with “the more tag” is easily done. It can only be inserted once into any given post. See here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/
