My login information is still linking to my old blog even though it is inactive and my current blog has all of my new content. My old blog is still linking to my new blog.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi oldassblog,
If you’re looking to link your Jetpack site to a different WordPress.com account, you’ll need to deactivate the Jetpack plugin, and then reactivate it once you’re logged in to your other WordPress.com account.
Please let me know if you’re looking to do something different!

Hi Valentine,
Every time I try to log on to wordpress.com using my current blog’s account information, it says my account info is invalid. However, when I use my old account info to login to wordpress.com (I’m logged in through my old account right now), it lets me go in. But I am able to access my current blog’s dashboard to post + etc.
Here is my login for my current blog: [REDACTED]
Here is my login for my old blog: username – [REDACTED]
If you’re able to, can you please go in and let me know what my next steps should be to completely deactivate my old blog so that I can link my current blog to apps like Polyvore + etc.
I hope that I am explaining this well. Thank you for your help.
Best,

U tagged this thread for Staff to remove your personal information. This s public support forum and everyone with internet access can access it. Never ever provide login information to anyone doing that will get your blog hacked.

Hi,
That was so dumb of me. I thought this was a private conversation with a WordPress technician.
my info has been removed, right?
thank you so much.
-
I cannot remove it. You have to wait for Staff to work their way forward to this thread and do it. I strongly suggest changing your password ASAP to a very difficult one. http://en.support.wordpress.com/selecting-a-strong-password/

Whew! Good. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when Staff respond and please be patient while waiting.

yep, subscribed! I’ll be patient. Was my original question understandable? It’s been kind of confusing to explain this issue w/ others…

This is all going to boil down to how many username accounts you have and exactly which one registered which blog. There is only one means of account recovery so please read on.
You must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard.
Clicking this link should display all your blogs registered under the same username, including the hidden ones: https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs&show=hidden
If you do not see the blog here http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/ then
follow this guide > http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/#my-blogs-dashboard-visibilityIf you have lost your log-in information you can visit https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
If required please complete the form for account recovery at this link https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery and submit it to the Account Recovery Staff so they can contact you by email ie. not on these public support forums which are available to everyone with internet access.

I may be asking the wrong question, so excuse me for the back + forth. my current blog is linked to my old blog. When I’m logged in to my old blog, it doesn’t list my current blog as “my blogs”. However, there’s notifications from my current blog on my old blog. I would like to disconnect them completely and have my current blog be the main account. How can I do that?
-
Hi beautywilsonblog,
Please change your password if you haven’t done so already!
As timethief has mentioned, these are community forums, and your posts are visible to the rest of the internet.
I noticed that your current blog isn’t hosted on WordPress.com, and you may be confusing your WordPress.com account (which is on a hosted service) with your current blog’s WordPress.org account.
You might be able to see your WordPress.org account listed under My Sites because it’s linked via the WordPress.org Jetpack plugin.
For the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org, you may wish to read the support article here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/If you’re looking to change the blog linked on your Polyvore account, you may have to do so on the Polyvore side instead:

Yep, password was changed. Thank you.
I figured out jetpack. I re-designed my blog so for some reason it wasn’t connect back.
Thank you both for your help in resolving this.
have a great wknd.
