    Hi! I just realized my domain expired. What would it take to reinstate it?

    If your domain has entered the redemption period, the registrar will require an additional US$80 payment to recover the domain on top of the regular renewal fee. You can learn more about this in our support guide at https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-expiration/

    Hi markandkara2014, I noticed this domain is also listed under a different account. We can go through the redemption process with that user; are you able to log in as them and confirm here that you’d like to redeem the domain? Or, if you can’t log in as that user, do you want to work with us on account recovery, and then on domain recovery?

    The other option is to allow the redemption process to continue. If the domain is not purchased by someone else, it will eventually be released for new registrations again.
