Technical Background of moving to self-hosted WordPress

    Hello.
I’m moving to self-hosted WordPress on BlueHost, preserving the domain name.
I initiated the transfer process and now I see on bluehost that now my domain under the status “Waiting for Wild West Domains, Inc. to release domain”.
I’ve already exported all the stuff from my blog on wordpress.com.
I have some questions about what and how things should go further.

    1. What will happen after the current registrar releases the domain?
    2. What will happen to current blog? Will it be closed/accessible from the Internet?
    3. Will I have access to my admin panel on wordpress.com after releasing the domain?
    4. What will happen after installing wordpress on bluehost on my current domain, my current blog will stay alive?
    5. Should I redirect server names?
