Technical help

I was having problems with the mobile site showing up my home page once I clicked away from it. I’m not sure what I have done now but my first blog post has also disappeared. It may be a problem to do with permalinks but I don’t have any permalink options in my task bar to adjust. Ready to throw in the towel with this. Any help would be appreciated

    Hi,

having problems with the mobile site showing up my home page once I clicked away from it.
What kind of problems occur only on the mobile site? One issue that I detect, which will affect navigation on the site regardless of the screen size of the device used to visit it, is that the “Home” item in the navigation menu isn’t linked to the homepage, or to any published content. So clicking it just produces an error message.

    Other issues regarding the menu:

    • The “Blog” menu item is linked to an empty page.
    • There is no menu item corresponding to your “About Me” page.

You can fix “Home” menu item issue at Customize > Menus > primary menu, by adding a menu item that correctly links to the homepage, and deleting the other one. See the Add Menu Items section of the Site Menus support page for relevant instructions, and a helpful animated illustration. Select the default “home” menu item, if one exists, or create a custom link menu item, entering the homepage URL as the link URL. While you’re there, you may also delete the defective “Home” menu item, the “Blog” menu item, and add a link to the “About Me” page.

my first blog post has also disappeared
There is only one published post on http://thatparentinglife.wordpress.com/. Do you have another that might be in draft status?

It may be a problem to do with permalinks…
No, it’s not a permalink issue.
