Technical issue with the blog's frontpage and theme

  Hello there.

  I have a wordpress blog since 2008, the Loading Time: http://loadingtime.gamehall.uol.com.br

  Ir order to cut the chase, I’ve returned to feed it with new post after 1 year hiatus, however, all options regarding the front page and its sliders just aren’t working. So, I’m unable to update its front page with the new posts, thus being stuck with posts from 2016. The theme in use is the ‘Athena’ (free version). I would be thankful if someone could help me with this.

  That site is not connected to WordPress.com. Rather, it uses the WordPress installation: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
