Technical problems at the start

A few weeks ago, I tried to register a blog with wordpress.com. I wanted a version without the wordpress.com-ending so I decided to pay the requested sum to get rid of the “wordpress”. However, my credit card was not accepted for several times. So I closed the browser and thought that nothing had worked. Today I registered the blog again and everything went well. However, I chose another title for my blog. After registration I learned that my original registration had also worked and now I have two blogs, which I do not want. How can I get rid of the first one so that today’s registration will become my main blog address?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m sorry but we cannot provide accurate answers to any blogger who fails to provide the exact URL(s) starting with http:// for the exact blog(s) they refer to so we can verify where the blog(s) are hosted. Please do that now.

    It’s about the following:
http://media-news-for-parents.com (the one I want and paid for)
https://medianewsforfamilies.wordpress.com/ (the one, I do not want)

    Thanks for posting both URLs.

  • If you would like to delete a WordPress.com site, there are options and instructions for doing so here:

    Delete a Website

Please bear in mind that once deleted, that site’s WordPress.com URL will become permanently unavailable for future use. If you feel that you might need that URL again in the future, you might want to choose one of the other options listed on the the page linked above.

Please let me know if you have further questions or if anything is unclear.
