I don’t know how to make videos and 2. With my WordPress plan, I can’t upload videos. Is there another way other than screencast? Just tried to reply to a comment and it is still not working. What are you doing that you can’t duplicate this issue? I need to know to compare and see if I need to do something different. I can see and read notifications but can’t reply, follow, like and etc… Help.

Everyone: does this happen when you are working with comments on your own site? Does it happen with comments on other sites too?

supernovia, this is going to sound like a dumb question but what is cloudup.com or dropbox. I’ve heard of dropbox but do not know what it is or does and I’ve never heard of cloudup.com. What are they and what are they supposed to do? What do exactly do you want to when you say does it happen with comments on other sites? Not sure what you’re asking.

@supernovia, this only happens from my Reader screen. I can’t click through on any of the comments left on my blog or left on other blogs (where they have replied). I can’t even click on the comment to be taken to the other blogs. I have to scroll through the Reader and go find the blog and reply there, if I want to deal with comments on other sites/blogs.

I was actually able to answer some comments last night. But it is touch and go. Never no when it’ll work or not work.

I can’t find my one thread I started and subscribed to. It was something like Posts publishing with wrong date and time. Can you help? When I last checked, no one had replied and I haven’t got an e-mail that anyone has replied yet. Time zone is correct. How can I fix the date if it is wrong? Please help me.

What do exactly do you want to when you say does it happen with comments on other sites? Not sure what you’re asking.
Sometimes you’ll be working with a comment on your own site – as the site owner you will have options to approve the comment, etc.
Other times you’ll be working with a comment on another site. You will only have options to like and reply.

I had problems with the poll daddy link in the beginning but I thought it was fixed and now I find out that both links don’t work. They have to go to Archives. Links would be easier but they don’t work. I know what you’re saying-I think but found out through a comment the poll daddy link didn’t work but went to my dashboard and tried the permalink in my post it didn’t work so I removed the link. I don’t know what to do. I did think you should be aware of it though in hopes you can possibly fix the problem.

When I last replied, it was about a totally different thread I started. Sorry about that. Lately, I’ve been replying from the bell on a comment page. It seems strange I can sometimes do it from there and not on my site or reader. But I can only do it that way sometimes. It’s touch and go.

I go to someone’s else’s site and I can sometimes reply, like or follow that way but not always.

Sorry folks, I have to admit I’m really confused at this point. I am trying to help, but I need to be able to duplicate this and to duplicate it I need a clear picture of what is happening.
Is the problem that you cannot reply from the bell icon?
Or is it that you cannot reply from the reader?
Also, can one of you please get a screenshot if not a video? I think that could help at this point, too. You can upload a screenshot to your media library. If you have a video, you can upload it to a site like cloudup.com (a file uploading site).

Can’t reply from the bell icon in the reader screen. Sorry that wasn’t clear. From the reader screen, I click on the bell icon, and the notification box isn’t whole, and I can’t click on there to respond to comments left on my blog, or on others blogs. I can’t even click on the notification to call up the blog, there is no “no-through” feature happening anymore.
I’ll do a screen shot and upload to my media library and comment back once it is done. Do you have skype? I can do a screen share and show you, too, if that would help.

Screen shots up – I took home screen showing the bell active, then clicking on the bell and it shows the comments, and then attempted to show that clicking on the comment does nothing. (sorry, happened faster than I expected!)

OK, I know how to do a screenshot but how can I send you one on the forum. Better yet, Do you have an e-mail I can send or forward the screenshot? didthatjusthappenblog, try what I’m doing, go to another site and try doing your comments that way. It works for me every-now-and then but not all the time. I can’t do anything with comments on either of my sites or the WordPress reader. Go figure. Something is not working right.
supernovia, as I said previously can’t do anything but see comments on WordPress Reader or either of my sights. However sometimes I can reply and follow and like if I’m on another site but not always.
