  How can I add the tool offered by Technorati for WordPress to automatically ping it upon some new content on my site?

  WordPress.com blogs automatically use pingomatic, which covers Technorati.

  that means that if i dont directly ping any of the services…still my blog is going to be crawled??

  The sites are going to be notified whenever you publish a new post.

  I’m not sure if the ping is working; my Technorati hasn’t updated after the last 4 or 5 posts. I wrote one last night, and it says I haven’t pinged them in 9 days. I really wish that we could place limited JavaScript in our sidebars!
