  How do I add the Technorati Code so that Technorati can ping my blog? I looked at the FAQ about embing the code and it does not MAKE SENSE to me. Blog claim? What? Where do I go to add the code in the blog’s template? What? I have no idea what the @@@### you are talking about. Please answer in the most simplest way possible. Step by step.

  To claim your blog, go to Technorati, sign in or register, search for your blog under http://www.technorati.com/search?advanced and where it says “Claim this blog” follow the instructions.

  To ping manually (because pingomatic isn’t working well lately) go to http://www.technorati.com/ping

  I find pinging manually right after posting is the best way to go. Often technorati doesn’t do it automatically until hours, days after sometimes.
