PRIVACY setting on my wordpress blog is : I would like my site to be visible to everyone, including search engines (like Google, Bing, Technorati) and archivers.
Is there anything else I need to do?

If you recently changed this, it may take an hour or so for Technorati to see the change.
Would you please try again?
-
I’ve tried several times over the past 24 hours.
I keep getting this message:Jul 13, 2011. Our access is explicitly blocked by your robots.txt file. Please grant access to TechnoratiBot. For more information about Robots.txt, please see http://technorati.com/robots-faq/

I checked the robots.txt file for http://enemyinthemirror.wordpress.com/ and it is working properly. If Technorati doesn’t recognize it, they may just take time to see the recent privacy change you made. If the problem continues for another day or so, you may want to try contacting Technorati directly about the problem.

http://enemyinthemirror.wordpress.com/ is correct URL.
Thanks, guys.
Guess I’ll check technorati tomorrow.

I’m sure the file is right on our side. My guess is that it’s cached as private at Technorati. Not sure how long it will take to have that updated.

Since everything seems to check out on our end, would you be able to try contacting Technorati?
http://technorati.com/support/As designsimply mentioned, it’s possible that Technorati has cached your blog as private. If it is a caching issue, Technorati would be best able to help resolve it.

I have tried to contact Technorati support, but all they allow is their “get satisfaction” forum. After one employee reply a month ago telling me to look at FAQs , I’ve received no further replies.
Each time I re-submit request to register blog, I get same message: ” Our access is explicitly blocked by your robots.txt file. Please grant access to TechnoratiBot.”

Everything still checks out on our end. Unfortunately, we have no control over Technorat’s system, so there’s really nothing that we can do.
