technorati updating tags

  so i just found out that wordpress categories are technorati tags

  so i went back and made all my super creative categories really generic

  then i pinged

  then i went to technorati to see if they had changed my tags

  no

  they still have the creative ones up

  its been an hour

  i edited my old categories, i didn’t make new ones

  could that be a factor?

  I changed/renamed/deleted some of my tags once and technocrati showed all the old tags for a few days actually, then they changed.

  I am not an expert or something (not even a rookie) on blogs, but these are just my ‘two cents.’

  Oops, Technocratic still has the same old tags (the ones that even don’t exist!) it was some other blog engine that took some time.
