Techsalesonly.com Redirects to a wordpress error message

    My site techsalesonly.com is supposedly live but it gives me the error

    ‘Someething unexpected happened while accessing this website. It looks like it doesn’t have an active domain connection upgrade to link the requested domain name to the WordPress.com site.’

    How do i fix this?

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: No
    Correct account: Yes

    Hi there,

    When I try to visit techsalesonly.com, it redirects to http://techsalesonly.wordpress.com.wordpress.com/ which is not true address which works on WordPress.com.

    Was this redirect set up by you, at your domain provider? I don’t see any active connection between techsalesonly.com and any actual WordPress.com site.

    I do see that you have the website http://techsalesonly.wordpress.com/ on your WordPress.com account – was this the site you wished to attach techsalesonly.com to?

    If so, then I may suggest the following:

    1. You could remove the incorrect redirection at your domain provider, so that techsalesonly.com does not lead to http://techsalesonly.wordpress.com.wordpress.com/
    2. You could add a paid plan (for example the Personal plan) to http://techsalesonly.wordpress.com/ and truly connect techsalesonly.com to it by following this guide:
      https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/connect-existing-domain/
