  Users should not post threads for which the sole purpose is to drive traffic to their sites. Instead, we’d encourage users to get involved with The Daily Post, Blogging U, and other community activities we’re working on. Our goals with these programs is for bloggers to not only improve their blogging practices but to meet other users and build community, and along the way that will help more people find their sites in a more organic way.

  However, here in the Ideas forum, it’s okay for users to post threads asking for assistance/feedback on their blog’s appearance or content, such as choosing an appropriate theme or widget for their needs.

  Thanks for the clarification. I haven’t changed position on this a single iota. As you have clarified that promotional link drops are not allowed and as I love getting feedback on my blog then here we go again.

  I just couldn’t resist. And, just you wait until I start my seniors threads … lol :D

  I have big plans. Aye, for sure, I’m gonna rock this world as senior surfer. I can’t wait to qualify for the label and the pension, so I can spend all day long inviting feedback on my future rocking seniors blog here. Moreover, as we Volunteers are all seniors or soon to become seniors, I may spark a revolution. ;)
