Teeny Tiny Accessibility issue?
-
I’m running a basic Section 508 check (Priority 1) on our blog (vafinancialaid.wordpress.com) and am coming up with only one little error – the search is not labeled.
Rule: 1.1.2 – All INPUT elements are required to contain the alt attribute or use a LABEL.
Failure – INPUT Element, of Type TEXT, found at Line: 60, Column: 101
Failure – INPUT Element, of Type TEXT, found at Line: 157, Column: 4We are using the free WordPress.com option and have not upgraded in order to be able to edit the CSS. Could this little, teeny tiny issue be fixed so that everyone can get the gold star of accessibility? :)

CSS won’t fix this as it affects presentation, not content itself. You should suggest this to support. It’s a fine idea:
