Telling followers about a new blog

  I want to set up a new blog is there a way of telling my followers without publicising it to publicly?

  Can I get a message to them somehow that only they will see not everyone?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I don’t know of any way to do that via the blog.
