Temp site

In developing my membership site, I have a temp wordpress site that is used blahblah.com/final (Made up name but the syntax is correct). I’ve installed the JetPack plugin and asks me to connect to a wordpress.com account or create one. When I finally complete my wordpress site, it will just say blah blah.com and I am concerned what to do about matters as any links created might be lost. How is this done correctly please?

Hey there, you’ve posted your question in the support forums for sites hosted by WordPress.com, but your above site appears to be using the standalone WP software.
Standalone WP (org) and WordPressdotcom (where we are) are different entities; more information about the differences can be found here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
