i would like some advice on what template would suit my blog- hi guys i have migrated back from blogger to WordPress-
Before i decide on paying for a template i was wondering if you could offer me advice, i will very soon be making money from my lifestyle/fashion blog, promoting and featuring products.
can you suggest which theme would have a close layout to these 2 blogs? and is wordpress.com a good site to be restarting my blog for business purposes? i have a very basic understanding of the backend stuff. these 2 blogs i like the layout can you suggest something close? and that has a more narrow size column width

This is definitely possible. However, for the best possible outcome, I’m going to direct you to the CSS Customization forum here:

The reason is that width customization can negatively affect how your site appears on mobile devices, and we don’t want that! Our CSS gurus will be able to give you the CSS you want without messing up how your site appears on smaller screens.

We do offer ecommerce through WordPress.com. However, it requires a WordPress.com Business upgrade as explained here:

Affiliate links in general are fine, provided you’re linking to items you’re interested in or recommending for others. However, we don’t want to have blogs up with the sole purpose of driving traffic to affiliate links. They should fit in naturally alongside your content, not be the main highlight of your content.
Additionally, please refrain from linking affiliate links to images (like an image ad). We have some additional details on affiliate links here:

This should be changed when you add a custom menu. Let’s see what this looks like after you setup the menu!
