template confusion

Hi, I am looking to create a blog and I would like to use the theme ‘Veni’; I just wanted to ‘try and customize’ first, to ensure I am happy with the layout and how to navigate the site, prior to purchasing the template.
When I click the ‘try and customize’ tab, the template that comes up looks nothing like the theme I selected and after playing around, I cannot seem to change the slider image etc.
I have read all supporting information on the template and I have correctly changed all of the setting to be the same as the sample, but my page still does not even represent the basic layout. Is this how it should look? Do I have to purchase the theme for it to come through correctly?

Hi Kristina –
bd5122.wordpress.com is using Twenty Eleven not Veni. You will need to purchase Veni before you can apply it to your site.
The theme is eligible for a full refund up to 30 days after purchase. So if you give it a try but it’s not working out we are happy to process a refund for you.
