template confusion

  Hi, I am looking to create a blog and I would like to use the theme ‘Veni’; I just wanted to ‘try and customize’ first, to ensure I am happy with the layout and how to navigate the site, prior to purchasing the template.
  When I click the ‘try and customize’ tab, the template that comes up looks nothing like the theme I selected and after playing around, I cannot seem to change the slider image etc.
  I have read all supporting information on the template and I have correctly changed all of the setting to be the same as the sample, but my page still does not even represent the basic layout. Is this how it should look? Do I have to purchase the theme for it to come through correctly?

  Hi @bd5122,

  “Try & Customize” function is just for previewing a theme before activating or purchasing it. Therefore, you need to purchase the theme if you want to make actual changes to your site. Please refer to the following support page about “Try & Customize” function.

  I think “Live Demo” function also helps you to know how the theme looks like. Please try it too.
