Template Management (Copy, Rename)

    Hi dear community.
I want to make a multilingual blog and I need to duplicate every thing for every languages. In particular I need 2 different menus, 2 different headers, 2 different page templates, 2 different article templates, 2 different index pages…

Supposing I’ve already made a Page Template for English, how can I duplicate a this page template I have just made and rename it before making a few arrangements for another language?
    Best regards

To set up a multilingual site on the wordpress.com platform – https://wordpress.com/support/set-up-a-multilingual-blog/

There is no need to mess around with template files! There are several multilanguage plugins as e.g. polylang who does this for you – https://wordpress.org/plugins/polylang/

To be able to use plugins on the wordpress.com platform, you must upgrade to the Business Plan.

I spent several hours on sandboxes to experiment, the Stock multilingual way, the Free Polyland way and the qTranslate-XT way. I plan to use Gutenberg only so qTranslate-XT was ruled out because it does not support the key features I need. Forgot to say I won’t pay a penny for more advanced multilingual plugins.

Between the stock way and the Polylang way the second one is definitively better but there is one big limitation remaining : switching the langage does not switch the menu (at least in the free edition). So I do need localized templates to change the menu. Pages and Articles are fine, when I switch from one langage to another, they do switch accordingly.

The only dynamic behaviour I can see is with the Page List Gutenberg block. Only pages of one given language display at a time. But I cannot reorder them and I cannot make link to post categories as the url slugs differ from one langage to another. This is why I need static menus, so specific page, post, index templates for each language.

I do repeat my original question : how can I duplicate a age template I have just made and rename it before making a few arrangements for different purposes ?
    Best regards
