    Your videos that explain how to edit template parts do not match up to the Bitacora theme. And they are not just off by a little bit. They full on are explaining things that don’t exist on my end.

    In addition to not being able to find assistance with template parts that are relevant, when I try to edit the default header or footer, they are BLANK! There is NOTHING THERE TO EDIT?!?! When I view the my site they are definitely there, when I click on Header or footer it shows me exactly the part I want to edit but then when I click on the edit screen the whole Header/Footer is BLANK! Nothing there to edit! Why is the content from my site’s default header not there?!?!?

    Also, I can’t seem to get my home page to add to the Navigation portion in my header! How come when I created my home page it didn’t add it to my navigation? It added all the other pages I created. I have a static home page and I want people to be able to get back to the home page through the navigation in my header, but it won’t add it. Why? I have watched so many of your tutorials but like I mentioned, they don’t apply to this theme apparently. So I don’t know what to do at this point. Please help.

    Thanks for getting in touch. Please send me a link to the videos that you’re referencing. Let’s double check those are from WordPress.com and not designed for the open source WordPress installation (2 different things).

    I do see that you were able to place a menu on the project. Does this part still need our attention?

    These newer themes are set up with less “construction” and that gives you more options with how they get configured. Sometimes, too many options can be a problem, though. I’m not sure where you’ve been trying to edit the header from, please send me a link so I can see that on my end too.

    You should see this below. The pink/purple section is the header on that template. It’s changed colors because I opened the template to edit it, and then clicked in that space.
