  Where can I find free WP templates for use in helping me to build a web site other than the few that are currently available please?

  The only themes you can use on WordPress.COM are the 300 or so that WordPress.COM provides – you can’t use any third party themes

  ok, thanks for that. I went into Themes and found one I like so will try to pick that up and use it.
