Hello,
I am new to wordpress. I am using the Chateau theme and I want a home page that shows links to all of my posts rather than shows the most full most current post. For example something like this: http://theelistnyc.com/category/nightlife/ but encompassing all of the categories of posts. I have read the way to do this is to create a custom template within your theme’s directory. I can not figure out how to access any directory or text editor.
Please help!!Thank you,
Emil

The layout in that example is purely a layout for archive pages. You can select different layouts at ‘Appearance’ -> ‘Theme Options’ in your blog’s dashboard. Also review this guide to learn more about the Chateau theme.

Ah, that’s something only available on self-hosted WordPress.org blog.
Themes can’t be modified or added to on WordPress.com.
