  Hi
  I want to create an online buying/selling/trade swap page but I’m unsure what template I would need to use as it’s not a normal selling website.

  Eventually when I have the local people using it I want to expand and start making money by adding weekly deals/affiliate links.

  Please can you point me in the right direction?

  If you’re looking to host your site here on WordPress.com, what you’re describing would need a specialized theme and some plugins. Therefore the Business plan is what you’ll need to purchase.

  What I would suggest looking at is the WooCommerce plugin with the Product Vendors extension. You can find more information here:
