Templates Sold templates

Good evening,
I’m trying to use a Templates Sold template for my blog, but when I change the title in the General Settings, it doesn’t reflect on the template. How do I fix this?
Peace,

I’m not quite sure what you are asking. Did you buy a new theme template to use on http://thewordofgodstillspeaks.wordpress.com/ ?
-
No, there’s a third party company called Templates Sold, and I downloaded a couple of their templates, but when I change the name of the blog on the template in my General Settings, it doesn’t reflect in the template when you pull it up on the screen.

If the blog is hosted here at wordpress.COM, we cannot add themes, we are limited to the themes found in the dashboard under appearance > themes. Themes found on the internet are for self-hosted wordpress blogs using the software from wordpress.ORG.

http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/Also, the blog name is the name that appears in the header of the blog. It has nothing to do with a theme or template. It is the NAME of your blog.
What is the URL of the blog you are talking about?

it’s donnaferrier.com which is hosted using the .org software through bluehost. Right now, I have a WP theme there, and I’ll probably stick with it…if nothing else because it’s easier. But it could just be that the header on that template I was trying to use isn’t supposed to be changed, which is a shame. They should have made that part customizable.

Since you are self-hosted, you need to be at the forum for self-hosted blogs: http://wordpress.ORG/support/ .
Also, you really need to look through the codex at .ORG and read up on using the .ORG software and find out how to add themes and plugins and such. Otherwise you are going to be completely stuck exactly where you are.
