Temporarily hide blog – so it doesn't show up on google, etc.
-
I just made a new website and would like to hide my wordpress blog. I haven’t gotten everything transferred over yet, and someday I might like to re-activate my wordpress site. but in the meantime, I would like my wordpress to not show up when my farm name is googled! Would a redirect be the best way to do this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

All support docs are at

Results https://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/
To change blog visibility to Private go to Dashboard > Settings > Reading scroll to Blog Visibility and choose option 3. See the guide here http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings -
Dashboard > Settings > Reading
You must be logged in under the exact same username that registered the site to be able to access the site. The Admin login link to the dashboard for every blog hosted by wordpress.COM is:
http://NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
*Replace NAME_OF_BLOG in that URL with the actual name of your blog.
I recommend bookmarking that link or memorizing it.
http://NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-reading.php
*Replace NAME_OF_BLOG in that URL with the actual name of your blog. to navigate to the Reading settings page
