Temporarily Suspend Blog

  Good morning,

  I would like to suspend my blog for a few days. What process can I go through? Can I do that whole thing or just one post at a time?

  Thank you for your help.

  If you want to take your site out of the public eye for a while or even permanently, you can do that by changing your site’s Visibility settings to Private. Here’s how https://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/

  Changing that setting to Private will make the site available only to you and to people you invite to view the site. Anyone who was following the site prior to it becoming Private will not receive notifications of new posts.

  Just be forewarned that if you change your settings again to either of the 2 Public settings, any posts that you have made in the meantime will be visible and notifications for newly published posts will go out to your followers.

  I’m not sure about a suspension, but you can make your site private.

  Click on “My Site”, then “Settings”. Check the option under “Site Visibility” that says “I would like my site to be private, visible only to users I choose”, then click “Save Settings”.
