  Can you let us know the new site address and what exactly you need to do want to add a domain to that new site?

  Hi there,

  If this is on WordPress.com you can set up your site using a free WordPress.com address that’s created automatically when you create your site.

  But to use a custom domain you will need to purchase a paid plan for the site, and custom domains can only be registered for a full year at a time.
