Temporary Domain while I create a new website

  Hello, I have an existing website & domain name. We are wanting to create a new website to replace the existing one. I can not use my active domain name now. I need to use another one. Can I use one provided by WordPress and then transfer what I create to the new one under WordPress? I must keep westroane.com, it must stay active while the new site is being developed. Thank you for you time.

  Hi there!

  Sure thing, you can create a site using a free subdomain (make sure you choose one ending with .wordpress.com or .home.blog – you’ll see it says free right next to it).
  You can then upgrade and register, map or transfer a custom domain whenever you’re ready.
