Temporary Redirections are affecting my website

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hi there,

I have 85 URL that have a temporary redirections as per what Semrush is saying in their report. I thought my Yoast SEO provider could help. But they said the redirections were made by WordPress. I don’t know the reason.

Can someone help me switch my temporary redirections to permanent redirections? How can I do it ?

Is it possible to let Yoast – I can contact more easily – take care of this as I have their plugin?

    Thanks for your answer,

    Delphine

    Hi there!

Yoast has a dedicated forum, please use the Yoast Support Forum to get any help related to the Yoast plugin.

    Hi there,

As I said, I checked with Yoast before, and they are not taking care of the redirections. It’s something that is done by Worpress only.

It’s not related to Yoast plugin they said, otherwise they would have helped me directly.

They sent me a screenshot indicating that the redirections are managed by WordPress but I don’t see how to share this here.

    Hi there,

Can someone get back to me on this?

This has nothing to do with Yoast, yoast support said. Can someone from WordPress check this for me? It is hurting my site’s performance. Please let me know how to fix it.

    Hello there,

Can I expect an answer anytime soon?

I have 85 temporary redirections issues. Those should be made permanent. It is a WordPress problem, not a Yoast one, they mentioned it to me.

Can someone please help? it is affecting my website

    Best,

    Delphine

We can’t help as that site isn’t running on the wordpress.com platform – https://wordpress.com/site-profiler/http://www.mentalosophy.com

You must head over to the wordpress.org documentation or ask for some advice in the apropriate forum.
