Ten Posts from top Stat Bug

  Using the wordpress.com stats plugin for my blog, I consistently get the most hits for the tenth post back from the current one. My blog averages under 200 hits a day but these tenth posts usually have 50 or more hits, with no listing of a referrer for them. This is obviously some sort of bug, but I’ve been unable to find any reference to any similar problem in the forum. I’m just wondering if anyone else has noticed this.

  The blog you specified at gammablog.com does not appear to be hosted at WordPress.com.

  This support forum is for WordPress.com hosted blogs only. If you have a self-hosted WordPress blog you need to seek help at the WordPress.org forums, not here.

  If you don’t understand the difference, you may find this information helpful.

  The people responding in this forum are for the most part volunteers and since the stats here are automatic we know nothing about the stats plugin.

  After upgrading to 2.8 this problem went away.
