terminate my account

I would like to terminate my account.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You must be logged in under the exact same username account that created a blog to delete the blog. Deleting a site permanently removes it and you’ll never be able to reuse its WordPress.com address:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/
Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/ -
All you were required to provide to register an account here was an email address that can be replaced at any time.
Any personal information that you voluntarily posted can also be removed at any time.
Although username accounts are not deleted, so you cannot be impersonated and have your reputation affected by anyone registering the same username in the future, there are steps you can take that amount to removing all personal information and result in leaving only a throwaway email address behind. http://en.support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts/
1. You can go to My Account->Edit Profile and remove all data except the account name and an email address. Create a throwaway email address and change the account email to that throwaway address. This only leaves the username behind.
2. To unsubscribe from email sent to you from WordPress.com, go here and click on “Block all subscription emails from WordPress.com”:
http://wordpress.com/#!/following/subsettings/3. To ensure the account is locked up tightly, visit this site, generate a password of 15-20 characters, and change the account password to it:
http://www.thebitmill.com/tools/password.html4. To hide your Gravatar profile, please read “How do I hide my profile?” section of the help page: http://en.gravatar.com/site/faq/#answer-1-8
IMPORTANT NOTE: Deleting blogs and/or blog content does not remove any indexed items from the SERPs (search engine page results). Google and Bing only clear their caches of deleted indexed content that produces a 404 (page not found) every 3 – 6 months.

Hi, I’d like to point out that there is no “How do I hide my profile?” section of the help page: http://en.gravatar.com/site/faq/#answer-1-8, as you state.
There is information on that page for how to make your Gravatar profile private, but it incorrect. (for one thing, we are instructed to click on the “My Account” link, but there *is* no “my account” link).
There *is* info on how to hide one’s profile but it is *not* in the help section.
This is incredibly frustrating. This plus the fact that it’s impossible to delete my account heightens my distrust of gravatar, and I regret signing up.
here then, dug from the recesses of the internet, is how to actually hide your profile:
Click your name in the top navigation of the website, then click “view profile,” then click the grey “Hide My Profile” link in the bottom, right-hand corner.

I’m so sorry. I did not know that 4. had been changed. Please contact Gravatar Staff directly about this. http://en.gravatar.com/support/contact-us/

believe it or not, it is currently impossible to contact Gravatar directly. All you can do is search their help and the forums.

jasonharrod, it looks like our documentation is slightly out of date, and I have made a request for it to be updated. Thank you for letting us know.
In the meantime, if you log into Gravatar and hover go directly to https://en.gravatar.com/jasonharrod, you can hide your profile using the link in the bottom right corner of that page. That link will only be visible to you as the person who owns that account/profile. It sounds like you already sorted this out, but since the profile is still showing up I wanted to make sure you knew that.
